    		Farouk Biosilk BST1001 1′ Ergonomic Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron (Health and Beauty) I bought this item in a serious debate for myself — I had previously been using cheapy, crappy, ‘wet-to-straight’ METAL ‘flat’ iron (and I use FLAT very loosely!) that was time to finally retire to the garbage.I was torn between this and any CHI flat irons, as most are salon recommended/ ceramic and fabulous. I finally went with this particular item and have been using EVER since! It is light-weight, visually appealing and slightly funky, heats up quickly and cools down just the same. I am in LOVE with this straightener AND the price I paid for it! I am SOSO glad to see it still on the market and still racking up great reviews! 1.25 1.25

My wife blamed me for her Chi straightener breaking in Spain, because I bought the 110-220 volt converter. So for the replacement, I went looking for a straightener that could work on 110 or 220. That was one of the things that attracted me to the ProV. But my wife wasn’t convinced that it would be any good. After we got it and she use d it a few times, she reluctantly admitted that it worked really well. And it cost about a third as much as some other straighteners. I highly recommend this. So i went online and bought this one thinking it would be even better since i could do it with damp hair. Well let me tell you it doesn’t work! In fact it made my hair even more frizzy. Not only that but it has these ridges on the so called ceramic blades that my hair got stuck in and would rip out my hair. The ceramic blades didn’t feel or look like they did at the mall. On top of that, this particular flatiron has been discontinued. It will ruin you r hair. I wouldn’t pay 10 bucks for it. Please heed my advice – if you can’t find a salon that sells Paul Mitchell , you ‘re better off going to a beauty suppy store & getting a generic flatiron for 40 bucks. Pink Royale
